This is my self portrait I chose to do Mr. Wong's way by using shapes. I also used curved lines for my lips. I was happy with my self portrait.

Use this document to record your notes as you go around the different posters to identify the four areas of print design.

Colour

This is good because you can see the text.	This is bad because the background is too dark to see the text.
We can see the text and it's not too colorful	This hard to see and there are too much colours

Composition

This has pictures.	This has no pictures
This is good because it has texts.	This is bad because it doesn't have text.

Layout

This is good because the facts and berry picking is on the same side.	This is bad because facts are on the left and berry picking is on the title.
This is good because everything is in order.	This is bad because it's not in order.

Text

This is good because the text is the same.	This is bad because it's a different text.
This is in the right place.	This is all muddled up.

• Have a balance of pictures and sentences.
• Use images  and relate to the text.

Martime Exploers

L.I to study the history of NZ maritime

Yesterday we went to the maritime museum to find out about maritime explores.

 I saw lots of boats like kayaks and waka. I found out that sir peter Blake was the best New Zealand sailor.

 I watched a video about  the first explores coming to Aotearoa.

 I enjoyed going to the maritime museum and seeing the canon and the old stuff.

Crazy Cricket Chaos

L.I To develop Fundamental Movement in cricket

We did our first session of cricket with Brion from HPCC.

I did a session on throwing a ball at a set of stumps

We also did an activity where we had to hit to balls of cones as far as we could.

Lastly we did a catching drill with 2 balls in a big circle.

I was so tired at the end from all the running.

I need to work on aiming and throwing hard.

Positive Relationships

We learned about positive relationships.

We played switch places for the energiser.

We talked about fairness and fair play.

We played pizza tag to encourage fairness and fair play.

I was happy that everyone was in the game playing fairly.
